Nurse-Family Partnership works by having specially trained nurses regularly visit and provide one to one support to first-time moms-to-be, starting early in the pregnancy and continuing through the child’s second birthday.

Nurse-Family Partnership is a free program for women who are pregnant with their first baby. When you enroll you will be connected to a registered nurse who will provide the support, advice, and information you need to have a healthy pregnancy, a healthy baby and be a great mom.

Absolutely. Your child’s father is welcome to participate, as are other family members or friends.
If your child’s father is seeking a program focused on supporting his growth as a dad, there is a program just for him. The Fatherhood Initiative/4 Dad specializes in supporting fathers and strengthening the community.
