03/27/2012 - Alamo Home Invasion Suspect Captured Leaving ResidenceOn Tuesday, March 27 2012, at approximately 5:00 PM, KCSO deputies responded to a home invasion in progress in Alamo Township.
A male subject had broken in to a residence in the 7400 block of N 2nd St, where a 12 year old girl was home alone. The girl contacted her mother and fled the residence. Her mother called 911.
Deputy James VanZile was in the area and responded immediately. He located the subject exiting the residence and ordered him to stop. The subject began struggling with Deputy VanZile and was tased. He was then taken into custody and lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail.
The man, a 48 year old Paw Paw resident, will be arraigned on charges of Home Invasion and Resisting and Obstructing on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Click here to view all news items
