On Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at approximately 12:00 PM, KCSO deputies responded to a home invasion in progress in the 7700 block of E V Ave.

A male and female subject broke into a residence where a 13 year old female was home alone.  The female contacted 911 and secured herself in an upstairs room.  The girl provided detailed information to KCSO dispatch, which included a description of the vehicle the suspects fled in.

The Vicksburg Police Department located and stopped the suspect vehicle.  The occupants of the vehicle were found to be in possession of stolen property from the home invasion.  Both suspects were arrested and charges will be requested for home invasion.
